Prior to opening the doors to Beauty in the Boutique in April 2022, Leah studied Beauty Therapy and Spa Therapy at Gloucestershire College, completing the two years and receiving a Level 2 Technical Certificate in Beauty Therapy and a Level 3 Technical Diploma in Beauty and Spa therapy.

Starting out in the industry with the role of Skin Spa Specialist in Clarins Skin Spa, Leah gained valuable experience learning different massage techniques and treating all body types.

Clarins is renowned for revolutionary skin care and high standard of treatments.  

​

From a young age, Leah suffered with eye strain and migraines, which affected her ability to concentrate in school. Sparking her initial interest in complementary treatments, Leah discovered Kinesiology which successfully treated these issues, and years later led her to train in MLD massage. Of recent, Complementary therapy is increasingly regarded as way of healing pain and treating health conditions.

 

In July 2022, Leah enrolled onto a Manual Lymphatic drainage course to study the lymphatic system in depth 

and learn the techniques to perform this holistic massage.

 

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage that uses slow, rhythmic techniques to stimulate the lymphatic system. It relieves swelling that is caused by illness, medical or cosmetic treatment that congests your lymphatic system.

 

At Beauty in the Boutique, Leah aims to provide a high quality service and client care across the beauty and holistic treatments. Creating a space for relaxation and making every person feel good from the inside out.
